The Focus Awards Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga (RQF) is aimed at students who already teach, or want to begin teaching, yoga.
The qualification will allow students to teach yoga asana, breathing practices, pranayama, relaxation and concentration/meditation to clients with a wide variety of ability and experience.
In order to successfully complete the Focus Awards Level 4 Diploma in Teaching Yoga (RQF) students must achieve a total of 37 credits from 5 mandatory units.
- Teaching yoga as a profession
- Planning and delivering yoga classes
- Understanding and applying the philosophy of yoga
- Teaching Asana to meet the needs of mixed ability students
- Finding the breath
There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification, but it is recommended that students have been regularly practising Yoga competently for 3 years.
You will complete your studies using our online student learning platform which can be accessed from any device, anywhere, any time. You complete a portfolio which will be uploaded to our assessors for assessment. You will then chose to attend a face to face-2-day workshop in either London, Birmingham, Manchester, Norwich or Dubai for our overseas students.
