  • Straightforward digital workbooks

The Level 2 course will take a minimum of 2 weeks to complete and the Level 3 course will take a minimum of 4 weeks, but we allow up to a year so you can easily fit the courses around other commitments. We can even organise an extension for a small fee if you need it. The approximate guided time for this course is 402 hours.

With easy-to-follow materials, flexible study and tutor support, FitLearn set you up for success.

We aim to make every aspect of study as flexible as possible – including our assessments. We believe you should be able to take your exams and practical sessions when it suits you – no booking involved.

Our five assessment paths

  • Learner Achievement Portfolio (LAP) – Fill in your LAP when you complete modules. Submit your answers, work with your tutor and achieve.
  • Multiple choice exams – Take your exams online when you choose, using our simple multiple choice format.
  • Video practical sessions – With FitLearn you can take your practical assessments in your own gym so there’s not the hassle of travelling to a distant assessment centre. Just pick a training partner and then use your phone to video yourself performing a session. You can then upload the result directly from your phone through our specially built training portal. Your tutor will watch the video, then give you feedback on what you’ve done well and where you can make things better. You can even do it again if you don’t get it right the first time.
  • Case study – Test your skills on a training partner. Build a client profile for them and create an exercise programme. Deliver the programme and then evaluate the results. Just like you will be doing for clients when you’re working as a professional.
  • Practical Hours/Workshop – Gain practical experience! Choose between either 20 hours work experience with a REPs professional in your local gym and complete your logbook to record a variety of observations and tasks that you have witnessed and shadowed. Alternatively attend a workshop with a FitLearn tutor and spend a whole day with an industry expert gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a gym environment!
